What is the Dunnes Store VALUEclub?

It is Dunnes loyalty programme. You earn points by spending at Dunnes Stores instore or online. Unlike the Tesco Club card, points can not be earned by spending at partners.

What are Dunnes VALUEclub points worth?

You earn 1 point for every €1 spent, with 100 VALUEclub points being worth €1 in VALUEclub money vouchers which are issued three times per year.

How to earn Dunnes VALUEclub points?

Customers earn points across Dunnes Store’s food, fashion, homeware departments and cafes. To ensure you get the points, you need to have your VALUEclub card scanned in store when making the purchase.

To collect VALUEclub points online, customers need to add their VALUEclub card details to their dunnesstores.com account prior to making a purchase.

How to spend Dunnes VALUEclub points?

If at least 200 points are earned within a specific time period you will receive money back vouchers in next mailing.  There are three mailings a year:

1. Spring (March in 2023)

2. Back to School

3. Christmas.

Assuming you’ve over 200 points you will receive a €1 voucher for every 100 VALUEclub points. VALUEclub money vouchers are not currently redeemable online. Hopefully this will change soon enough as Dunnes are starting to do online grocery shopping.

To check a VALUEclub points balance or any money vouchers due on a card, visit www.dunnesstores.com/points (note that you need to submit your VALUEClub number and on card surname)

 Do Dunnes Stores do online grocery delivery?

 Dunnes started to do deliveries in 2020. The now do delivery to most of the big cities and surrounding areas. At the time of writing they don't deliver in Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim or Donegal. Check your area here.

• Annoyingly, you have to create a dunnestores.com account too if you want to get points when purchasing from Dunnes Stores online. You can create a Dunnes online account here.

Dunnes Stores app

The Dunnes Stores app contains a digital welcome voucher that when scanned at checkout gets you €5 off a €25 shop.

 

The new app also has the following features:

 

• Store your €10 off €50 grocery vouchers

• Store your VALUE clubcard helping you earn points on each shop and it also lets you track your VALUEclub balance

• Scroll through the latest weekly grocery offers although you can’t order a grocery delivery directly from the app

• You can view the latest fashion & homeware items. You are redirected from the app into your internet browser when you do this.

• You can also search for your closest store & view their opening hours

• If you've already signed up for a dunnestores.com account, you can login to the new app using the same login details.

Dunnes do a number of promotions:

• Spend and save offers are what people are most familiar with, after shopping at Dunnes the customer receives a voucher on their receipt that entitles to money off their next shop. These usually are valid for a few weeks.

• Dunnes Digital vouchers – Dunnes have started sending ad hoc vouchers to customers via email. From what we know, these are sent to infrequent customers to try to get them back shopping at Dunnes.
